Community Toilets
Globally 2.3 billion people don't have a decent toilet of their own. This affects their health in multiple ways, for example by causing children under 5 to die every 2 minutes from diarrhea created by these circumstances. That is why The Good Roll Foundation builds toilet units for communities in need!
Gida community, located in the Ashaiman district with 125 residents.
The Good Roll Foundation renovated the 4 public toilets! We collaborated on this project with SafiSana, converting human waste into biogas and fertilizer that sustain community members and farmers. So the community toilets got a much needed upgrade, and the waste doesn't go to waste, it's a win-win!
