Puplampu
Globally 2.3 billion people don't have a decent toilet of their own. This affects their health in multiple ways, for example by causing children under 5 to die every 2 minutes from diarrhea created by these circumstances. That is why The Good Roll Foundation builds toilet units for communities in need!
Puplampu community, located in Ghana, counts 125 male and 125 female residents.
We are working on this project together with Safi Sana, who have mastered the skill of converting human waste into biogas and fertilizer that can sustain community members and farmers. The biogas is transformed to electricity, which enables people to cook their food or charge their phone. The Good Roll Foundation provided the community with 24 public toilets.
